One year ago, Braxton experienced his first seizure, sending him to the ER and leading his family to discover a glioblastoma brain tumor. His parents, both in healthcare, have been exhausting every lead, trial, specialist, and treatment available to save their son's life.

After his first brain surgery, but before he started chemo treatments, I joined them on an overcast morning to make sure their family was documented together, happy.

As *soon* as we were done shooting, Dad was on the phone with specialists out of state, and Mom was answering the door to a company that would install air purifiers in their home. They are all in. "Our family of 5 does not work without Braxton in it. Period."

He truly is the absolute sweetest kiddo! He never complained once during our shoot, even though I knew his energy was low. We had to be careful not to bump his fresh stitches (you can see his incision prominently in one of the images). He needs a miracle, and we are CONFIDENT it will be provided!!
